A tribute to the past
In middle school, my friends stumbled upon a hidden gem of a game on ffiends.com (special shout-out to Fred) and introduced me to it. Fred had cultivated a community around this game, which had a small but dedicated fan base. However, as time passed, the game disappeared from the internet. In his final letter on ffiends, Fred granted permission for others to access the code and create their own versions of the game.
After waiting for years, someone managed to piece together enough of what seems like the original code, allowing us to fill in the missing pieces. So, we took what we could salvage and combined it with other exciting gaming concepts to create our unique version of this epic journey. We hope to continue building on top of this concept, but for now it’s just nice to get our hands on a playable version again after about a decade…
